A Moment Spent Alone Doing Something I Enjoyed
I had finished all my homework, but my siblings had not. This meant that I could not play with them, but at least I could have the video games all to myself....
Yup. My favourite pastime is playing video games, even though my mother would keep pestering me to read a book or something. She'd promised to let me do whatever I want after finishing my homework, but she still keeps pestering me. Anyway, back to the story. I love playing computer games because it's fun, interactive and some video games can actually let players literaly get their butts off the floor and move around. That's because these games can actually recreate sport scenes. ( For example, you have to swing your arms to make a character on the T.V. screen swing a bat. ) You might think that these kind of games are a waste of money, but hey, you don't get as sweaty as you would if you were playing real sports. And I am proud to announce that I am an owner of such cutting-edge technology.
Even so, I personally prefer video games where you just sit on the floor and press buttons. My favourite game is shown in the video above. It's titled 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl'. Basically, the aim is to weaken your opponents to knock them off the stage. The weaker your opponent, the further he flies off the stage. Items randomly spawn during the battle for you ( or your opponent ) to use. The game can be played by up to four players, but you can battle computer players. I like battling against my siblings, but this post's title clearly states that I have to be alone.
Well there I was, playing video games. By myself. That was THE MOMENT.
Okay, that's all I can think of for this post. I hope you don't think that I'm a lazy butt after reading this. I DO ocassionally play sports. In front of the T.V. screen, of course.
